Skagit River Alliance was formed in 2019 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our goal is to preserve and protect the Skagit River, its watershed and its communities.
Our objectives are:
- To educate the public regarding existing or proposed activities which present a threat to the health and safety of the Skagit River, its watershed environments, and its communities.
- To provide information about the impact of specific threats, and the opportunities for individuals and groups to respond in order to prevent or ameliorate destructive impacts.
- To disseminate information and support action via our Facebook page, website, email, public media, and via community meetings, articles and presentations to interested groups.
- To sponsor, host or participate in events and activities to further these objectives.
We encourage you to send your comments regarding the proposed quarry permit to Skagit County. Remember to include your name and mailing address.
